Welpco Code of Conduct
At Welpco, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and trustworthy platform for both Clients and Welpers. Everyone using Welpco is expected to follow this Code of Conduct when communicating, booking, providing, or receiving services through the platform.
Respectful Behaviour
All users must treat each other with respect, professionalism, and courtesy.
Users must not engage in:
- Harassment, intimidation, threats, or abusive language
- Discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, or any other protected characteristic
- Inappropriate, sexual, offensive, or disrespectful comments
- Bullying, pressure, or manipulation
Welpco has zero tolerance for behaviour that makes another user feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
Safety First
Clients and Welpers must act in a way that protects their own safety and the safety of others.
Users must not:
- Request or perform unsafe, illegal, or inappropriate tasks
- Bring unauthorized individuals to a job without prior approval
- Enter private areas that are not related to the requested service
- Share personal information unnecessarily outside the platform
- Use the platform for dating, personal relationships, or any purpose unrelated to services
If a user ever feels unsafe, they should leave the situation immediately and contact Welpco.
Honest and Accurate Information
All users must provide truthful and accurate information when creating a profile, booking a service, or communicating through the platform.
Users must not:
- Create fake profiles
- Misrepresent their identity, experience, skills, availability, or qualifications
- Use another person's account
- Provide false payment, contact, or verification information
Welpco may suspend or remove any account that contains misleading or false information.
Professional Communication
All communication between Clients and Welpers should remain professional and related to the service.
Users must:
- Communicate clearly and respectfully
- Respond in a timely manner when possible
- Keep all service-related communication on the Welpco platform when available
- Avoid spam, excessive messages, or inappropriate requests
Commitment to Bookings
Clients and Welpers are expected to respect confirmed bookings.
Welpers should:
- Arrive on time
- Be prepared to complete the agreed service
- Notify the Client as soon as possible if they are delayed or unable to attend
- Complete the service professionally and to the best of their ability
Clients should:
- Provide accurate service details
- Be available at the scheduled time
- Provide a safe and respectful environment
- Pay through the Welpco platform as required
Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or unreliable behaviour may result in account restrictions.
Payments and Platform Use
All payments must be completed through the Welpco platform unless otherwise authorized by Welpco.
Users must not:
- Try to avoid platform fees
- Request cash payments for services booked through Welpco
- Encourage another user to complete the transaction outside the platform
- Use the platform to promote unrelated businesses, products, or services
Violating payment rules may result in suspension or removal from the platform.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Users must respect each other's privacy.
Users must not:
- Share another user's personal information without permission
- Take photos, videos, or recordings without consent
- Post about another user or a service experience online in a way that identifies them without permission
- Misuse contact information obtained through Welpco
Property and Belongings
Welpers must treat Clients' homes, property, pets, and belongings with care and respect.
Clients must also respect the personal belongings, tools, and equipment of Welpers.
Any damage, loss, or incident should be reported as soon as possible.
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited on Welpco:
- Violence, threats, harassment, or intimidation
- Sexual misconduct or inappropriate behaviour
- Fraud, theft, or dishonesty
- Illegal activity
- Discrimination or hate speech
- Drug or alcohol impairment during a service
- Unsafe work conditions
- Requests for services that are illegal, dangerous, or inappropriate
- Attempts to bypass the Welpco platform for payment or communication in bad faith
Reviews and Feedback
Reviews must be honest, respectful, and based on a real service experience.
Users must not:
- Leave fake reviews
- Threaten negative reviews to pressure another user
- Use offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory language
- Share private information in a review
Welpco may remove reviews that violate this Code of Conduct.
Account Suspension or Removal
Welpco may investigate reports of misconduct and may take action at its discretion, including:
- Issuing a warning
- Temporarily restricting access
- Removing content or reviews
- Suspending or closing an account
- Reporting serious incidents to the appropriate authorities, when necessary
Reporting Concerns
Users are encouraged to report any behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct or makes them feel unsafe.
